A Note on Minimax Inverse Generalized Minimum Cost Flow Problems

چکیده
Given a generalized network and a generalized feasible flow f, we consider a problem finding a modified edge cost d such that f is minimum cost with respect to d and the maximum deviation between the original edge cost and d is minimum. This paper shows the relationship between this problem and minimum mean circuit problems and analyze a binary search algorithm for this problem.

Capacity Inverse Minimum Cost Flow Problem under the Weighted Hamming Distances
Given an instance of the minimum cost flow problem, a version of the corresponding inverse problem, called the capacity inverse problem, is to modify the upper and lower bounds on arc flows as little as possible so that a given feasible flow becomes optimal to the modified minimum cost flow problem. The modifications can be measured by different distances. In this article, we consider the capac...
متن کاملTruncated Linear Minimax Estimator of a Power of the Scale Parameter in a Lower- Bounded Parameter Space
Minimax estimation problems with restricted parameter space reached increasing interest within the last two decades Some authors derived minimax and admissible estimators of bounded parameters under squared error loss and scale invariant squared error loss In some truncated estimation problems the most natural estimator to be considered is the truncated version of a classic...
متن کاملInverse and Reverse 2-facility Location Problems with Equality Measures on a Network
In this paper we consider the inverse and reverse network facility location problems with considering the equity on servers. The inverse facility location with equality measure deals with modifying the weights of vertices with minimum cost, such that the difference between the maximum and minimum weights of clients allocated to the given facilities is minimized. On the other hand, the reverse c...
متن کاملInverse Tension Problems and Monotropic Optimization
Given a directed graph G = (N,A), a tension is a function from A to R which satisfies Kirchhoff’s law for voltages. There are two well-known tension problems on graphs. In the minimum cost tension problem (MCT), a cost vector is given and a tension satisfying lower and upper bounds is seeked such that the total cost is minimum. In the maximum tension problem (MaxT), the graph contains 2 special...
متن کاملCombinatorial algorithms for inverse network flow problems
An inverse optimization problems is defined as follows: Let S denote the set of feasible solutions of an optimization problem P, let c be a specified cost vector, and xO be a given feasible solution. We want to perturb the cost vector c to d so that x is an optimal solution of P with respect to the cost vector d , and lid clip is minimum, where 11.llp denotes some selected Lp norm. In this pape...
